Please complete our medication authorization form (available in our front office), and bring medications in the original, labeled packaging. All medications must be stored in our nurse’s station.
We do not provide transportation services for our scholars. However, we do offer after-school care to allow parents the flexibility of picking up their scholars around their work schedule. Scholars may be dropped off each morning at 7:30 a.m. and picked up at dismissal. Scholars enrolled in our affordable After-School program receive excellent care in a safe environment until 5:30 p.m.
ParentPortal is just another way we keep communication between home and school strong. Berean Academy is a uniform school. We believe that “while hairstyle and similar matters of momentary fashion are not worthy of concern in themselves, adherence to a standard is an important element of discipline. It is a great mistake to require nothing of children. Reasonable rules and standards are an important part of any education system” (Dr. James Dobson, Psychologist and Author). Our uniformed dress code encourages a modest, disciplined learning environment to ensure scholar learning and focus. It applies to all scholars at all times during the school day except with administrator approval. Our school uniform includes: We do not restrict outerwear styles; however, coats, hats, gloves, and sunglasses may not be worn in the building. We encourage all scholars to keep personal electronic devices at home, including cell phones.
